This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Energetic, inquisitive, and intelligent are the words I would use to describe my students. My students are faced with several challenges in all areas of life.

Despite the many challenges they face daily in their environment, I am motivated to provide all of my students with experiences that would make them well rounded, lifelong learners.

My students come from a low socioeconomic area. They are faced with issues that can't be addressed through education. As a caring educator, I desire for them to have everything they need in order to succeed. Many of my students depend solely on me to provide and protect them in and out of school. My students are very special to me!

My Project

Our class was granted a Cricut Explore machine and they love watching me use it to make things for our class. My students will be able to use this heat press, in addition to the Cricut Explore machine, to be a part of their own creations. These creations will be shown when we attend class field trips, and other events, my students would participate in. My class being able to be creative and design beyond our Cricut Explore machine will help show off the inner designer in my students! Art is one subject my students love and my only desire is to enhance their exposure through creativity.
