My Students

I teach in a Title I school. I teach bilingual 4 year olds. My students love to learn and are very curious. They enjoy learning through exploration and play. They are very kind hearted children.

This is their first experience in school so I want to offer a positive experience.

I want them to come to school happy and have fun! While they have fun I want them to grow to their full potential. I want them to always remember my class as a fun place.

My Project

I have asked for a sofa set for my library. This includes a sofa that sits two people and a chair with and ottoman. I will be able to sit 4 kids in total. Right now my class library has a bare floor. I would like for my students to feel welcome in this environment. The couches will make them want to go to the library center more and they will read more books.

In my class I want to foster that love for books.

My students will benefit greatly from these couches. My students will be able to read independently at their level and at their pace in a comfortable and welcoming environment.
