Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We have had the same old (they were new to us when we received them over 10 years ago) used couches in our library and now we are looking to upgrade. These couches have been well loved and cherished and used by students during their library visits but are unfortunately run down, broken and full of dust.
These requested couches will breathe new life into our library and update our space so students can comfortably and safely enjoy books.
We are also looking for a storage space to hold our makerspace materials. Students will be able to find supplies easily and quickly with this storage unit and use less of their class time cleaning up since they will know where everything goes.
