This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Now that we've gotten so many wonderful books for our Kindergarten library it would be amazing for my kiddos to have a place to sit and read. Many of my Kindergartners have learned to read this year and they are obsessed with books. They have acquired such a love for books and reading.
I've pinched myself this year many times because it's unbelievable "Did I do that?" Well, whether I helped to do that or not this year, my students really need a place in our library where they can read comfortably.
Instead of sitting on the floor slouching, it would be wonderful if they could have a comfy couch and chair to sit as they hone in on their newly acquired skill.
