Costumes for Our Making of America Showcase

Help me give my students colonial costumes to enhance their acting skills when they create their original colonial showcase.

My Project

We are a brand new project based public school with limited resources. These costumes would be used by the fifth grade to student who are going to write, produce, and act in their own Making of America Showcase.

The costumes will add to the authenticity of the show and help the students step into the shoes of the people that lived in the colonial era.

We are showcasing not just the British colonial perspectives, but the perspectives of the people that lived on the land before the Europeans colonized, the people forcibly brought to the colonies, and other marginalized voices.

These costumes will be used each year with new interpretations of colonial America.
