Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our beautiful elementary school is located just south of Seattle, Washington. Over the last few years, the school's enrollment has been steadily increasing to almost seven hundred students! The physical education department is fortunate enough to see each and every student at least twice a week. In addition to PE, we offer both before and after school programs to keep our students engaged and healthy.
Our student population is growing!
Our elementary school has a wide array of cultures, which makes it a fun place to teach! Due to this increase of students, our equipment demands are also growing. Our students look forward to PE each day and this equipment will touch the lives of every student.
My Project
Last month, we received 10 bowling lanes so that our students can learn bowling. Bowling is a life long sport that students can learn at a young age and use it throughout their whole entire life. It is important for students to learn the proper skills and technique! As a unit closure, it would be awesome to provide my students with a Cosmic Bowling Experience!
This Cosmic Bowling Experience would bring lots of smiles and memories!
This project would allow them to see what its like to go Cosmic Bowling. This would increase students interest in bowling and also help add to their physical, mental, and social health! In the shopping cart are LED light strips that we will use down the side of the lanes. In addition, the other lights will be used throughout the gym to provide an awesome learning environment! Thanks for supporting my kids! They really love bowling and this project would bring lots of smiles and memories!
