My Project
I have 25 amazing students that are creative and eager to learn. I like to make learning fun but effective. I took a district class that taught us ways to use clay as a form of connecting visual arts with the core curriculum.
I thought this would be a great opportunity to use the skills I learned by bringing them into my own classroom.
I plan to have the students use the clay to create the state flag they have been researching. My students have been spending time researching a particular state (the flag, resources, motto, governor, cities, capitals, etc.) and are preparing to present on that state.
