My Students

Last school year I moved to a new school. As I was packing up my classroom, I was noticing that many items are in bad shape. These were items that my students have used over the past twelve years. Moving to a new school is a great opportunity to start fresh with some of the supplies that have not stood the test of time.

At our school, we strive to touch the lives of children in a way that prepares them to take their place as citizens with high academic skills and fine moral character.

As a teacher, I try to go that extra mile to support my students in the journey of learning.

Through their education, I hope to make a lasting impression on them. However, the items we have in our classrooms don't always last and it becomes time to replace them with something new to help enhance learning even more. This is where I am in my journey of teaching.

My Project

Moving to a new school has created a lot of changes for me. My new school has teachers use their classroom budget (of $200) to purchase copy paper to use for the whole school year. I didn't realize this as a new teacher to the school, so I didn't order enough paper to get through the school year.

We are 120 days into the school year and we are running out of copy paper!

This donation would help us finish off the school year with enough paper for copies. As the school year wraps up, this paper is essential for my class to finish off the school year on the great foot that we started off on.
