This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students at our middle school are hard working, creative, compassionate, and driven towards excellence. They are eager to take on the challenges of changing our world in a positive way and are ready to use their musical voices as a guiding force in creating change.

The communities we serve are vibrant and diverse.

Although many of our students face daily challenges in the neighborhoods they live in, they do so with optimism, integrity, and pride. As teachers, we strive to give them a place that elevates their voices.

My Project

My students and I are in frequent need of access to a printer and photocopier. This laser printer will fulfill all of our copy and printing needs quickly and effectively!

While all of our students are provided with a tablet to write papers and create projects on, the vast majority of them do not have access to a printer to make hard copies of their work.

Furthermore, I frequently write arrangements and new parts for the music we are learning and I need easy access to a printer and copy machine to print them out for students.

This printer, along with the ink bundle, will ensure that my students and I have the ability to print out projects and sheet music whenever necessary, allowing us to focus on learning and making music!
