Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Our school serves an underprivileged neighborhood in San Jose. Many of our kids receive government assistance, and we try to provide the full range of services that school libraries in more affluent areas do. One piece of equipment that we don\'t have is a desk-top copier machine for our kids to make copies of school related items (pictures for class, articles from encyclopedias etc...). We would like to purchase a desk top copier to enable our kids to reproduce information for their class projects and assignments. My current budget must be used to purchase replacement books, book repair materials, and paper-so the chances of me being able to buy a copy machine for our kids is pretty much beyond the realm of possibility. I hope that someone will be able to help a great group of kids (and a pretty darn good library, too).
