Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school is Title One and is located in a predominately Hispanic area. My students are faced with many obstacles both in and out of the classroom. Despite all the obstacles they face, their parents are very supportive and willing to help make a change.
My students love school.
They are eager to get their hands-on their next learning adventure. They are willing and able to try just about anything related to their learning. They love to discuss things they learn about and the books they read with us during morning meeting. More importantly, my students want to be loved and to belong. My goal is to show them that they matter in a world this big, and they are destined for greatness.

My Project
These materials will be utilized to make copies for my students. Our school relies on copies because students don’t have textbooks to work in. We currently have 2 copy machines for 250 students. They are jammed most of the time from over-use. Please support us in an effort to provide a brothers laser printer machine, an extra high yield ink cartridge and multipurpose copy brights and pastel colored paper so my students have proper materials for valuable lessons.
Our teachers and students work with bare bones!
We are challenged daily due to a lack of funding, technology, and basic materials. Having this printer will help my students have the basics they need at arms length reach.
