My students are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions. They love hands-on, active, engaging activities and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions. They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and socially.
Each child who comes to counseling is eager to learn new skills, especially skills that may help improve his or her peer interactions; LEGOS are an invaluable tool to help students improve their cooperative play.
Students will use these LEGO sets to build and explore. They can parallel play with LEGOs, but can also work cooperatively, using LEGOs to build and create together - this provides options for students to engage with one another in many ways. Stimulating students' natural curiosity to explore and play together with this versatile LEGO set will be so valuable to their social skills!
