My Project
Students with disabilities such as autism, learning and language disabilities, and ADHD have difficulties with a variety of skills. These include receiving, processing and interpreting information; critical thinking; and communicating appropriately with peers. Adolescence is a critical time for teens to acquire and develop these necessary skills.
I am requesting team building activities and cooperative games to provide my students with a fun, hands-on experience developing and applying social-emotional learning, team strategizing, and leadership skills.
The goal for students with disabilities is to apply these life skills in order to function independently and properly with others after graduating from school.
