Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My classroom is filled with bright, inquisitive students, many of whom are learning English as a second language. Ice makers will be used to promote reading and aid in Science. Hands-on science experiments help them connect vocabulary with real-world experiences in ways that are memorable and meaningful.
An ice maker will allow us to explore temperature, states of matter, and physical changes in a meaningful, engaging way.
Ice cold water access also supports student wellness, focus, and daily hydration, especially during active lessons and warm days. These resources will enrich learning, spark curiosity, and create a more inclusive, supportive environment for all students to thrive.
