My Students

I am a very lucky teacher who is fortunate to teach music to the entire school which is made up of TK-5th-grade students. The students are always very eager and enthusiastic to listen to and learn to play and sing new music!

The students work on note reading, math skills, fine motor skills, listening skills, composition, working together, following directions, being creative and having a ton of fun!

We have learning disabled students, behavioral students, and mainstreamed students who all come to music class. This is a creative outlet that is incredibly important for every human being. With the addition of new music we will help to keep inspiring ourselves and our community through song!

My Project

All of these new music selections will be used for years to come to keep inspiring my TK-5 grade students to play a string instrument and or a band instrument.

My four instrumental groups and combined chorus groups learn exciting music selections during every school year for both for fun and for scheduled performances at both school and community events.

A variety of music is essential to keep an updated and current music program alive and well. Sheet music is a necessity to help students keep learning to read/sing or play rhythms, dynamics, articulations and melodies correctly. Outstanding current music also helps to build confidence and is very relatable and inspiring to a wide variety of audiences.
