This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students lack basic supplies, and work hard in school and on the job. Access to water bottles, colored pencils, hand sanitizer, cute erasers, are all things we take for granted. It would be great to share with students, and possibly earn prizes for school work or reading. Or perhaps, just welcome to the library box. and the top readers or other categories (best attendance, for example), would be recognized both by the school, and by the library. Many of our students have families, so these gifts could be for kids at home, too.
