This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Each day my students are required to work for 40 minutes to 1 hour on their reading and math computer programs, and without headphones it makes a noisy classroom where students are unfocused and unmotivated to improve their academic skills. With these awesome headphones, students will stay quiet and focused on their reading and math computer programs, and this will allow them to achieve their learning targets. My students need this practice because most are second-language learners who are below standard in reading and math. These computer programs allow them to work at their level, but they need headphones to be able to focus and stay quiet during this important work time. Students will be thrilled when they see that these are not just boring-looking black headphones, but colorful and "cool" headphones!
