This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have 31 students who come back from recess and P.E. sweaty and parched, and they don’t have access to cool drinking water. The water that comes out of the leaky fountain next to our classroom is unbearably warm to drink. At the end of the hallway, there is a fountain with room-temperature water, but students need a water bottle to use that one. Some students bring water bottles from home (when they don’t forget), and others are not able to. My grandmother already got us started with a set of 8 water bottles, now all we need is 3 more sets. Help me ensure that all of my scholars are HYDRATED, REFRESHED, and READY TO LEARN by donating to my project for a set of classroom water bottles and an ice maker to keep at school!
