My Project
We all get stressed out at times... Now, imagine you can not communicate your feelings. This is what life means for many of my special needs students. A large part of my job is to try to provide a safe quiet space for students when they start to get overwhelmed by things inside or outside of the classroom.
I need a special area in our classrooms where students can relax in a comfortable setting to calm down or read a book or do a puzzle and learn how to manage their feelings.
Bean bag chairs and soft lighting is necessary to establish a comfortable area to cool down, relax and recenter. Please help me provide this for my students.
