Cool Colts Deserve Cool Treats!

My students need school supplies to help with daily school work. These items will be used with our behavior incentive program. Students earn charms for good behavior which are traded for treats and supplies.

My Students

We are a title one school that serves many students living in poverty. Our school qualifies for free breakfast and lunch for all students, which is a huge blessing. Many of them do not have basic supplies needed for school and our teachers rely on donations or buy supplies for their students themselves. We have students ranging from pre-kindergarten to third grade. Our students are eager to learn and have so much to offer this world. We have a staff of amazing teachers that go the extra mile for them everyday!

My Project

Our students have been working hard all year earning charms for being good students and good friends. We have a charm store where students get a chance to spend the charms they have earned. We would really love to offer more useful and exciting items for the students. Our students always need basic supplies such as pencils, headphones, and erasers. We would love to be able to also offer things that they want like lip balm, pencil pouches, scented markers, and other fun items that are also useful in school. We have seen positive changes in our students with this program and we would love to be able to continue to add to our charm store. When we focus on positive behavior it really helps our entire learning environment become more positive!
