Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
Middle school students can benefit from a view of nature and outdoor space when meeting with their school counselor during individual and small group sessions. Having an outdoor space can benefit students because being in nature can positively impact their mental health. Instead of always meeting in the counselor's office, counselors can sometimes meet with students in the outdoor courtyard. Adding green turf and nice tables can assist in turning a drab, concrete courtyard into one that is on its way to becoming bright and inviting. Please help provide this positive environment for my students!
