Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I will use the materials to provide calming accommodations for all of my students. I want to provide all of my students a desk band and calming strip so they can relax in any time they feel stressed. I also want to expand my calming corner to feel like an inviting place to sit and truly relax. I want to add in different sensory toys that won't cause a distraction to those around them, but can make a difference.

All of our students need a place to feel calm and happy.

I want that place to be my classroom.
