My Project

Kindergartners benefit from lots of hands-on, self-directed projects! When children have the opportunity to craft and create for themselves, they eagerly try new things, test out ideas, discuss their work, and take pride in their accomplishments.

I am asking for materials that will let my class paint, craft, and create freely.

Watercolor paints are a Kindergarten favorite; beads and beading cord let kids develop fine motor skills while they make beautiful jewelry. Lots of colored paper and cardstock is useful for crafting, book making, and making game sets for collaborative learning. I am also asking for a large fan. Our classroom gets very warm and a fan will help us keep the room comfortable for learning.
