This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am trying to develop the joy of cooking and healthy eating for my students. On our weekly cooking show, we will showcase simple healthy recipes. Students will learn to read and follow simple instructions, and use measuring tools, students will learn how to be responsible with using cooking tools. The items needed are cooking appliances (air fryer and electric grill), cooking utensils, bowls, and pots. We need various materials to cook foods from around the world that the students and teachers have created. Seeing students from diverse backgrounds interact and work together to cook the recipes is amazing. After teaching cooking for the past months, I have realized my teaching is limited by my lack of cooking appliances and supplies.
