My Students

My students are some of the happiest and hardest working students I know. Each of my students receive services through the Life Skills Support program, but don't let that fool you. Each one of these kiddos are UNSTOPPABLE. The enthusiasm they show for life is like no other. My students need and deserve multiple approaches to learning. I plan on providing this for them as long as I am their teacher. Walk into my room and spend a day with my students and you will leave with a fuller heart.

My Project

My students need countless opportunities to practice life skills. Cooking is one of the life skills that will be taught within my classroom. With this mini-fridge, microwave, and Keurig my students will have the materials to do so.

By donating to our project, you will help give my students the opportunity to cook on Fridays and deliver cups of coffee to our staff through our coffee cart.

Hands-on experiences are the best way to lock these skills in, and I want nothing less than the best for my kids. Independence is a beautiful thing, and can you imagine the look on these children's faces when they learn to serve a cup of coffee to their favorite teacher or make themselves an afternoon snack?

My goal is to continue to focus on the possibilities for my kiddos and not let the disabilities hold us back!
