Cooking Up Recess Fun!

My students need a super chef kitchen, new traditions dining table and chairs, pretend and play kitchen set, life-size pretend and play meal sets, and 4 soft body dolls to make recess and playtime fun!

My Students

Did you love school? My students do! I teach kindergarten to a highly motivated, fun, and diverse group of students at a Title I school with 100% free breakfast and lunch.

My students come to school ready and eager to learn!

They work hard and look forward to learning.

My students are faced with daily challenges and our school is unable to provide all items that are needed to prepare our students to live in an ever changing world. I make school fun and exciting while providing my students with a safe and nurturing environment where they feel comfortable taking risks and trying out new things. I cannot provide all the additional items that are needed to make our classroom the best learning environment possible, but you can help with that.

My Project

Recess and free choice are one of my students favorite parts of the day. During this time they need fun and engaging activities to participate in while working on positive interactions and communication with other students.

My students would love to have a play kitchen with all the items that make it fun and entertaining!

My students will work together and use the kitchen, plates, cups, utensils, and play food to make pretend meals for each other. They will be able to "eat" these meals together at the dining table that has seating for 4. Students will also have the baby dolls to use while in the kitchen area.

Providing students with these items will contribute to the social and emotional program that we use in my classroom. Students will be able to pretend play as they cook for and with each other and eat together at the dining table.
