This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Since my students need more practice than others to learn basic skills, they need to practice basic cooking skills at school. I would like to be able to teach my students how to make simple meals that they can prepare for themselves at home. I am looking forward to teaching to safely cook one-pot meals and heat up frozen foods.

The electric skillets will give my students practice cooking in our classroom.

The knives and cutting boards will allow my students to practice safe cutting skills. The silicone utensils will let my students each take turns cooking.
