My Students

Do you remember what it was like the first time you read a book that you couldn't put down? My students have just started the journey of loving books. Expanding my Listening Center will allow my students to listen to books on CD. Literacy is extremely important to my students.

My students will be learning to read this school year.

These books on CD will enhance their literacy. I am asking for chairs to allow my student a place to sit while they are listening to the stories. Also, I want to expand the variety of books within this center. The students will be able to listen to the Books on CD during our morning center of Daily Five, when they have the chance to do Listen to Reading.

My Project

Your donations will be helping the leaders of tomorrow. We need to instill that reading is fun and what better way then to show them at an early age. A listening center helps children with those early phonics skills that will help them become lifetime readers. Please support my students who would love to read!

We could use a variety of Books on CD to use during Listen to Reading. We could use an assortment of Books on CD to use during Listening to Reading. Listen to Reading is valuable for developing fluency and vocabulary. It will also build students stamina for reading.
