Help me give my students plates, cups and silverware to not only practice how to use them, but also how to clean them and put in a dishwasher.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach Special Education at a high school that predominately serves low-income, immigrant and refugee students. Our programs teach students daily life living skills in order for them to be the most productive members of society that they can be.
These students are highly motivated.
My students range in age from 14-21 years of age. They have a wide range of disabilities from mental, to physical, to emotional. They come to school every day with a smile on their faces and a willingness to learn something new.
My Project
I teach in a self-contained Special Needs classroom. The purpose of my class is to teach students Functional Life Sills, such as money management, functional reading skills, basic self-help skills, and basic cooking skills.
My students need basic kitchen utensils in order to learn to be self-sufficient.
My classroom has a fully functional kitchen with 4 stoves, 2 full size refrigerators, and a dishwasher. What are classroom is missing is basic utensils such as forks, spoons, knives, plates, and cups.
With these things, my students will be able to learn how to cook, clean, wash, dry and load kitchen supplies into a dishwasher. These materials will help them take a BIG STEP in becoming self-sufficient.
