Cooking Club and Entrepreneurship

Help me give my students items like a display rack and hot sauce bottles for a more expansive cooking club experience. We are looking to expand the cooking club to more entrepreneurial activities.

My Project

This project will be an expanse to previous projects that take place in a cooking club after school. The original purpose of the club is to help students be more independent and to learn new cooking techniques to help at home. Another purpose was to introduce vegetables in a new way to students. We hope these skills will then be brought home to help families that live in food deserts.

These additions will add in entrepreneurial skills, such as selling items, packaging items, taking orders and budgeting.

Students will begin selling items in school that they make in cooking club to help expand their financial literacy and business skills. The products we are adding here are dry goods that can be used in no particular rush, and items such a bottles and small jars/containers to package and sell items that students produce. We will also be provided with more organizational items to help us keep track of our items and our products. The profits will help us become more financially independent and able to continue for years to come.
