This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students truly have a passion for cooking and baking. With the help of their teachers, they have even started a cooking cafe club. They have developed recipes and menu items that they intend to make for our local senior citizen center. Their hope is to take them healthy yummy treats for the upcoming holiday season. Making healthy delicious foods, snacks and desserts are what they enjoy. However, they are in desperate need of a freezer in order to store perishable foods, baking dough, and other ingredients. With your helpful donations, I know their dream will come true.
