Help me give my students a diverse area that will provide a space for collaborative discussions and encourages active engagement.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
My students reside in a rural area of Chaparral, New Mexico. Where they attend a Tier 1 school whom everyone receives free lunch.
My nine teen first-grade students who are socio-economically disadvantaged are in need of a good collaborative discussion area.
My students really love to gather during the beginning of the mini-lesson at the instructional carpet. My students are extremely excited about receiving a new carpet area that will bring a sense of home feeling with them to the classroom.
This carpet will replace my inadequate conversational space. Allowing me to accommodate all of my students for diverse learning, providing the ability to have collaborative discussions activate schema, and verbal processing skills allowing for a close sense of community in the classroom.
This space gets a new makeover providing a fresh community and sense of belonging in the classroom where all the students can sit together in space without being left to sit on the cold stone tile.
Bringing together the classroom community creating a sense of home belonging, the students will feel safer to share their ideas with others.
