Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Conversations That Matter Podcast Club is a space where students can talk about topics that allow them to express what they think, feel, or what they would like. The computer will be used to record, the cards are to have something to talk about and make it fun, and the snacks are so they can eat something since this activity is after school. To date, our podcast has not been shared due to a lack of some tools, with the right support and tools we can share and reach a large audience so that our voice is heard. We believe that in our project every conversation counts, our vision of promoting education, critical thinking, and the well-being of students and the community. With your support, we could further strengthen our content and reach more people who can benefit from these conversations. To move forward with the project, we need a computer for recording and editing, snacks so they can eat something before or after the recording, and games to break the ice when there are new members or simply keep the conversations dynamic. This support will allow us to improve the quality of our projects. Furthermore, your support would be aligned with a project that promotes education, dialogue, and social commitment.
