My Project

My students and I need help stocking our Ceramics classroom. We are in desperate need of some basic ceramics equipment such as kiln shelves, kiln wash and steel-pointed stilts in order to fire more student artwork in each kiln. I will teach 180 students how to create ceramics this school year. Currently, I can only fire one layer of ceramics in each kiln. That's about 5 projects per kiln. You can imagine how long it takes to fire artwork!

My goal for this project is to fund the basic furniture and tools needed for a Ceramics classroom so that we can create and fire more projects at one time, therefore making a more efficient and productive classroom.

Currently, my students have to share equipment because I don't have a class set of ribs, needle tools or rolling pins. By contributing to our classroom, you will improve productivity because students won't have to wait to work!
