This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The KEVA planks spark curiosity and allow children to build whatever they can imagine. Students love to see how tall or how big they can make things. The contraption kit has fun additional pieces to make Rube Goldberg-type toy traps with levers and balances. The planks also come with plastic balls that can roll through the students' creations. KEVA Playset fits snugly together with non-warped pieces that don't have breaks or skips, so the balls will stay on track. The planks are 100% wood and completely recyclable. KEVA is a veteran-owned company run by a dad and his daughters.
Building is fun, challenging, and engaging.
I want my students to have plenty of opportunities to participate in building something that is both hard and rewarding. I believe the KEVA planks can do that.
