Help me give my students graphic novels to continue to improve their reading abilities daily and to enhance their love of reading.

My Project

My class is a unique group of students. Students have a variety of learning abilities but they do not let that stop them in their every day learning. My students work together as a community to support each other to make sure everyone knows that they are able to be themselves. Students persevere daily in their academics while at the same time build a community of social learners with each other.

Students have expressed the need for graphic novels in our classroom to read together because they enjoy novels that are illustrated and enjoy reading aloud with peers as a class.

Graphic novels provide an opportunity for students of all ability levels in our classroom to remain engaged in the story and to participate by reading aloud with their peers as a class.

As we read more graphic novels as a class, students will be able to use the novels to complete projects using the ink, to print out reports about their books to support their learning.
