My students are amazing Kindergarten-Sixth Grade Students who attend a Title I school located in North Carolina. My students love to move, read, and love positive attention. They are kind, caring, and the hardest workers. My students are in regular education classrooms but receive Special Education services to help them close the achievement gaps that they so often have. They work very hard to obtain and maintain their individualized goals. I hope to give them the tools they need to be successful in and outside the classroom.
My Project
Many of my students come to my class in order to learn important social, emotional, and behavior skills. Learning these skills will help my students become better lifelong leaders and will allow them to be more successful in and outside the classroom. My students need 8 individual annual subscriptions to The Social Express online. The Social Express subscriptions will provide my students with interactive activities that address their individualized needs to become better at social, emotional and behavioral skills. This program will help reduce paper copies in order to provide my students a more environmentally friendly learning while developing social, emotional, and behavior skills that they can carry on throughout their whole lives. Students will be able to learn important life skills such as Identify feelings in others, understand the importance of eye contact, identify appropriate coping strategies, learn how to be part of a group, watch social situations unfold and see how behavior can have negative or positive consequences, and so much more! Please help my students become lifelong leaders by learning social, emotional, and behavior skills.
