Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These books will supplement the curriculum we are covering in class, providing extension activities that peak the interest of the students and push their reading levels. It will also allow students to enjoy a book and foster a love of reading in addition to giving them the opportunity to learn how to read independently and in small groups.
With these books, students will be able to choose a book that sounds most interesting to them increasing the likelihood of fostering a love of reading which will improve internal motivation in academics and in life.
