My Project
Consumable art materials and supplies are expensive, but very necessary to a well-rounded art curriculum. I like for my students to learn about and explore as many art media and techniques as possible during their time with me in my classroom.
Exposure to a variety of media and techniques is essential for the development of artistic skills and techniques but also allows students more avenues for expression, and creativity. Schools are not always able to devote the funds necessary to provide students artists with many experiences to interact with a variety of mediums. I have a limited budget with my school to purchase supplies so I need to supplement what my students use through this organization and donors such as yourself.
I am appealing to the generosity of donors like you who support a well-rounded arts education for public school students. Without you, working with with basic media wouldn't be a possibility in my classroom for the next school year. All of my students will benefit from the materials in the cart since I am asking for basic drawing and construction paper, pencils, and glue bottles with this project.
