My Students

Our students are energetic, active learners. They attend a Title One school and their parents often struggle to buy supplies, uniforms, and provide lunch. The parents do try their best to send their children to school every day so they can get a proper education, meals, and exercise and play in a safe environment. The students try hard at everything they do, from in the classroom to on the playground, because they like school and feel safe at school. The teachers try equally as hard because we know they are our future and need dedicated educators who care about their success and well-being.

My Project

Learning letters and numbers is essential for school but unfortunately, many students come to Pre-K not knowing how to write the letters or numbers.

Making letter and number writing fun helps engage the students, keeps them practicing, and makes them want to do it daily.

The construction kits allow the students to use 2D blocks to make letters and numbers, while the robots allow students to make the numbers and then play with the robots when they are done. The wikistix kit enables students to bend sticks to make the numbers and letters and the water color and construction paper allows the students to paint the letters and numbers. Make learning fun is vital to Pre-K and these materials make that happen.
