I just received a Sound Wall to help my students see what their mouth should look like for various phonemes or sounds. This will help ensure students produce the correct sounds and use the Sound Wall as a reference when reading and writing.
Now, I'd love a hot glue gun to construct Sound Walls throughout the building and adhesive mirrors to allow students the chance to practice their sounds while making sure they have the correct placement of their tongues, lips, and teeth.
The pop sockets will be used as phonemic awareness warm-ups: students will map out their words and tap the pop sockets as a tactile reminder of the order of the sounds in the words. Finally, the page protectors will help organize decodable passages for students to read.
