Constructing Our Learning

Help me give my students supplies like Construction Worker costumes, small digger trucks and toys, construction decorations and Oreos, pudding and gummi worms to make a fun treat for our Construction Themed Day.

My Project

Our first-grade class is getting ready to roll up our sleeves, grab our hard hats, and build on our learning with a Construction Theme Day! This fun-filled, hands-on day will help reinforce key skills in reading and math while making memories that will stick long after the final bell rings.

With your support, we'll transform our classroom into a mini construction site where learning meets excitement.

Students will wear construction worker costumes as they rotate through engaging activities that focus on reading comprehension, math problem-solving, and teamwork. We’ll decorate with caution tape, tablecloths, and construction-themed accents to set the scene and spark imagination.

To top it off, students will "construct" their own special snacks: “dirt cups” made with pudding snack packs, crushed Oreos, and gummi worms—a delicious reward for their hard work!

We also want to celebrate their efforts with prizes like mini toy trucks and construction-themed bracelets—perfect motivators to keep them building their knowledge with enthusiasm.

This special day will not only support academic goals but will also create a joyful, interactive learning environment. Your donation helps bring this theme to life and gives our young learners a day they’ll never forget. Thank you for helping us build a strong foundation in learning—and in fun!
