Students in our school often come to school with thread bare socks, we have run out of tissues, they cough constantly, and no one ever has chapstick!
In the winter, we want our students to stay warm and healthy!
By providing new socks for our students, they will know we care about them!
It's January, and the students have colds, but we are out of tissues, so they are using toilet paper to blow their noses. This means they are leaving class, and their noses are getting more red from the scratchy, yucky TP. Every time a student needs to leave the classroom to get a cough drop from the school nurse, they are losing important instructional time, so it would be nice for the teachers to have a bag of cough drops in their classrooms. As for the Chapstick - the cold, dry weather is causing dry, chapped lips, and the kids are licking them to no avail. Let's give them some soothing moisture! Our goal is to keep the students healthy and in school so that we can give them the proper education!
