Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are bright, quick-witted, funny, kind-hearted, and creative. They come from diverse backgrounds and speak a variety of languages. They are adjusting to the return to in person learning and yearning for opportunities to communicate with one another and interact with their peers.
My Project
My students are coming back to in person learning after over a year of online learning. Students are reconnecting with their peers during a time of critical development in their young lives. My students need opportunities to continue to develop social and emotional skills in relation to collaboration and positive peer interactions.
Through board games my students will form positive relationships with their peers and gain practice in resolving conflicts while building critical thinking skills.
