My Project
Children need lots of sensory and social emotional learning. The connection they have in the classroom means so much. The pocket trees will be special to the children as they can bring photos of their families and create a family tree for our classroom. We can use the emotion coin boxes to have small group discussions.
The sensory tiles and sensory lights will be great in the calm down area.
This will provide hours of sensory experiences for the children. Many children need different types of touch and feel. The lights will help set the tone. This will give them a calming experience.
There are so many wonderful ways the items I have chosen can be used in the classroom to create connection, social emotional learning, and sensory experiences.
