Help me give my students their own personal book bags so they may enjoy reading their own choice of books that will enhance their reading on a daily basis.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
As a teacher in a Title I school, I see my ESL students facing many challenges from other countries and I am very passionate about trying to give them the necessary resources for them to succeed in our fast-paced environment.
I have 21 students in my classroom.
We work hard and have many different challenges that each student faces individually. We work hard to make sure each student feels welcome and we work hard to make sure we all succeed together.
We are a classroom in the heart of Houston, Texas where we embrace diversity and teamwork to all be successful in and out of the classroom.
My Project
These book bags will inspire my young readers to read whether they are at home or in the classroom. They will be able to have their own book to reference their readings using their graphic organizers at hand. I want to keep my students engaged with excitement that they can tote from school or home on any given day. My students want to be able to pick their own books and carry them around proudly. Since Covid we have been limited to what choices we have and being able to share has been a struggle.
