My Project

Kids with autism often have differences in sensory processing. Some may find sensory input overwhelming while others might not notice stimuli so quickly. Sensory processing can affect their communication, behaviors, and ability to learn. This is because our bodies are constantly receiving sensory messages. Each person processes the world around them differently.

Access to a variety of equipment and materials to help the kids process sensory information is key to navigating the world.

Please help me to provide the best space possible for these special kids. Items like flexible seats and chairs, body socks, music, visual and light toys, fidgets, timers, and more help our students regulate and be ready to learn.
