Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love to create art using all kinds of paint. But they really tend to prefer "dot" paint because of how much more control they have over where they apply the paint. Dots are a great alternative (teacher hack) for some children that do not like paint because of sensory overstimulation. Students love to see what happens when you mix multiple colors and even sometimes pretend to write their names.
During center time, students often love to use multiple dot colors to make their amazing art masterpieces.
The dots and paint will serve as a replenishment to the art supplies we run through in our 3K program.
