Help me give my students laptops in the counseling office so they have easy access to online counseling curriculums, research, career exploration, and so much more!
All of our students use technology in one or another! Please help support us by donating laptops to the counseling office. Students always visit the counseling for support and guidance, and one thing that always comes up is if anyone has an extra device to use? Whether it be for help with google classroom, researching for an assignment, career exploration, filling out their high school applications, working on their counseling goals, or having access to online counseling curriculums that will further support their Social Emotional Learning; we are always in need of a device. I am asking for 5 laptops to further support my students.
The goal for this project is to give students access to laptops by connecting them to technology in the counselling office.
We are always looking for devices to help support our students. Having access to laptops can alleviate many road blocks our students face throughout the day. Our students have access to online counseling curriculums and many do not have their own devices to utilize the lessons that can further support them in their social emotional learning journey. We support students in many different capacities such as helping them fill out their high school applications, assisting with help in their google classrooms, making up work, career exploration projects, and taking SEL assessments throughout the school year.
Our students need all the help we can provide for them. We are a Title 1 school with limited resources and many students do not access to devices such as laptops and tablets. I am hoping to help alleviate some of these issues by having a set of laptops in the counseling office that students may use for educational purposes and help them with their academics as well as social emotional support.
