This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials will provided my amazing students with connections between literature and science that will teach them about perseverance, hardship, culture and essential clean water is, but not accessible for everyone.

They also need to understand about weather and climate as global citizens and it starts with setting the roots of understand and experiencing what causes these phenomena in the classroom.

They can then start to understand what climate is on a broader scale.

They love to learn about the world around them. The science kits will provide them with an opportunity to make real life connections to a real world problem, and then can be a part of the solution. My students thrive with hands on experiences that can connect from reading.
